I visited this facility I went to the Residence at Silver Square. I like them because they deal with memory care, which is what my mother needs. It's a nice place. Everybody I met up there was very nice and the staff explained everything to me. I didn't really have any questions; she pretty much explained everything. The rooms were very nice. I'm hoping my mother gets in with another person, but if not, she's going to go into a single room. I like the rooms. They are set up nicely. They have plenty of room. They have a nice bathroom. The bedrooms are big. They have a big porch, but of course, they won't use that in the winter. They have things to keep them involved all day long. They have a hairdresser who comes in, and they have pedicures or something like that, and I like that. Everybody eats together and they do it as a group. I also like the dining area. The place is very clean. I'm very impressed. It looks nice in there. Everybody is very friendly. They're looking out for the patients.

I visited this facility The Residence at Silver Square was a very nice community and a good location. It's a very nice place. At the time, I thought it would have been good for my mother and that she'd be able to live there, but she needed much more care. It was set up more like little apartments and they encouraged socializing. So, they had a lot of activities and they encouraged people to go and eat in the dining area. They had a menu, which looked good. I told my husband I wouldn't mind living there. It was a very nice place, but it was just too expensive. That was one of the deciding factors, the cost. Everybody I met was very nice. The woman that I met with, Audra, made several phone calls just touching base with me to see how things were going and all that. So, she was very kind, very friendly, very understanding, and very informative. They would also allow pets. If you had a pet, you could have your pet in your room, but you weren't allowed to let them roam the area. They could be in your room and you would be able to take your dog out for a walk and things like that. What I saw was a one-room apartment where your bed and your kitchen and living room area were just one big open concept and it had a nice bathroom with a step-in shower.

Silver Square has provided my parents a comfortable and safe home with loving caregivers. The residence has a modern, but cozy, interior and a beautiful wrap around porch and gazebo. My parents moved from their hometown to be near family and were welcomed by a very friendly staff who get to know not only the residents, but their families as well. Meal time is flexible and the several food selections are delicious. My parents raved about it!. There are several activities and residents can be as involved as they choose. My father moved to the memory care unit, Relections, after a year, and we were so pleased with his transition. He is treated with respect and love and his caregivers can make him laugh like no one else! My mother who lives in her own studio can visit my father at any time and share meal time with him. My father has been on hospice for several months and the hospice staff works so well with the Silver Square staff. It is such a comfort to our family. I highly recommend Silver Square for their professional and individualized care for your loved ones.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My father is at the Residence at Silver Square. The facilities themselves are very, very nice. They have a dining room where they can go in and order pretty much anything they would like. They have assistance with medications. They have numerous places to watch movies or TV that are very comfortable. They have an arts and crafts program that is very good, as well as an exercise room and a supervised exercise program. The resident events are very nice. People get together and meet each other. I was worried about my father, who's legally blind and pretty deaf, but he's made a lot of friends and really enjoys it there. The staff members are very engaging and offer help. The food is pretty good.

David The Residence at Silver Square
I visited this facility The Residence at Silver Square was a refreshing place. It's relatively new and it's very bright. They seemed to have a warm, welcoming feeling when I went in. The people were very cordial and the people at the desk as you go in were quite inviting. The woman who took me around was very good. The food was impressive. They have a philosophy there. They take a lot of pride in their food. That's the one thing that they talked quite a bit about. They have a lot of flexibility on when residents can go to eat, so they're not locked into only a certain time of day when they can go to get their lunch or dinner. They talked about the quality of the chefs and cooks that provide the food and the location seemed very clean. Everything I could tell in terms of the food seemed to be positive. They even gave me a blueberry cake when I left. They had several activities that were interesting in terms of looking at the descriptions, anything from yoga to knitting to physical activities of different sorts. The facilities were very nice. The only fault they have is it's a fairly expensive place. It might be out of my mother's price range.

Our friend is very pleased with The Residence at Silver Square community. The activities are very well suited to the community. The meals and dining service gets 5+ stars. They serve really excellent food - they have such a nice variety to pick from at every meal. It is pretty much like restaurant dining. Based on our experience we would highly recommend this community to other families.

The Residence provided everything that my loved one needed. He was there for two & a half months, and his illnesses worsened. He passed 12/31. The care the staff provided went above and beyond. They all worked so very well with the Hospice nurses that we didn't have to move him to a higher level of care. He remained safe and was made very comfortable in the end.

The staff at the facility is very friendly and caring. The housekeeping comes once a week, and they do the laundry for the residents. The residents are able to have cars if they would like. They do have yearly increases on rent. The food services are really good, they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. They do have activities they have weekly schedules and daily specials.

We toured with The Residence at Silver Square. It wasn't the right place for Mom. They showcased the dining experience but Mom was only able to eat puréed food and the facility was very large and expensive.

Anne Marie The Residence at Silver Square
HIGHLY RECOMMEND: After spending 19 months in a facility on Lafayette in Rye NH and post acquisition of a large corporation where patients/residents are monetarily valued only, coupled with observing a steep decline in continuity of care and safety, I moved my mom into The Residence at Silver Square (August 22). Within weeks, my moms cognitive baseline increased and her level of anxiousness decreased dramatically. As a brilliant retired nurse, I finally saw her less anxious and much happier after the move. She feels safe and well loved in her new home, as she should. Making the decision to physically move my mom after months elsewhere, was heart-wrenching, the change was not for me but for her. No regrets whatsoever! The clinical and executive staff are amazing at Silver Square!! I'm more than happy to speak with anyone considering moving their loved ones into The Residence at Silver Square, my perspective is an interesting one after spending so much time at one 'business' and witnessing first hand as caregiver and family member the dramatic deterioration after the procurement of what was known as Evolve Memory Care @ Rye.

This was one of the best decision we made. Our loved ones are thriving in the community. The staff attention has helped our loved ones settle into the community. The staff communication has been excellent with the family. They have been good at keeping us updated on concerns, questions, and have been responsive to our questions. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and they have choices to choose from and snacks are provided. The community allows private dining to be scheduled with our loved ones, and the food has been delicious, fancy, and amazing when we have engaged with this! The community provides activities for the residents to participate in. There are outings, church services, exercises, yoga, and more for the residents to engage with. The community also provides a monthly calendar to the residents for activities. In the memory care unit there are hourly checks on the residents by the staff.

We really like how clean and new the community is, it is just the right perfect size for our loved one. It is not to small and not to large. We have had some challenges with communication and coordinating all the medical providers and schedule. At times it seems like everyone is all over the place and isn't sure who is in charge of what. It has caused some frustration so that could be improved, but based on the experience we have had so far with The Residence we would recommend them to other families..
